Oberon Golf Club

Nestled in beside the serene Lake Oberon
in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, you will find the Oberon Golf Club.

About two and half hours west of Sydney, Oberon is a challenging, undulating course carved through towering forests of gums, and is the work of prolific golf architect, Al Howard.

Opened in 1958 with 9 holes and sand greens, the course was expanded to 12 holes and by 1972 18 holes.

Oberon is famous for its small, sloping greens, spectacular views and its tight fairways.

0263360262Another feature at Oberon is that it doesn’t have any bunkers.

It is also cool climate course and at over 1000m in altitude, can even receive a light dusting of snow in the Winter months.

Length (Men): 5,582m Par: 70
Length (Women): 5,209m Par: 72

Visitors are most welcome.

"We had a great experience at Oberon. This course is a hidden gem that we were very happy to discover and so close to Sydney. It is challenging but fun at the same time and the views are spectacular! A great bar and friendly local members will make you feel welcome. You should definitely add this to your golf trip options.”
